Anthias Prize Draw Winners

Thank you to everyone who entered our December prize draw and for providing us with insights into your training goals for the coming year. The winners have been drawn and notified by email. Entries came from a wide range of industries and experience levels and locations around the world. Many entrants’ priorities for 2017 centred around improving general knowledge in the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of GC-MS. Others are looking for training on manufacturer-specific instrumentation and some in advanced techniques such as Deconvolution. Also on the list of many entrants’ goals is Continuous Professional Development (CPD). Anthias’ training courses can help you to meet this objective as the majority of training courses are approved by the Royal Society of Chemistry for CPD.

The winner of the top prize of a course of their choice is Lucy Coppin. Lucy was delighted to learn of the win and commented:

“I have attended the basic one day course and would love to continue learning in such a knowledgeable environment.  The folder provided is concise and very helpful and I think the further courses would be invaluable to me.”

The 4 winners of either a place on the Absolute Basics of GC & GC-MS or a goody bag have been won by K Piskorczyk, I Awonyemi, M Forde and D Marikah.

Katarzyna Piskorczyk, one of these winners, has trained with Anthias before and comments:

“Anthias Consulting provides high quality, comprehensive courses that include the hands-on practical laboratory sessions. I appreciate Anthias consultants' professionalism, dedication and a very nice atmosphere throughout the course.”

Another winner, David Marikah from Kenya, comments:

“Thanks a lot for the great news. I am so delighted. Many thanks to Anthias for picking me as the prize winner. As a chemist, I feel greatly honoured to win a prize for a draw hosted by Anthias, a leading trainer in the area of analytical chemistry. One of your team members, Imran was in Kenya sometime last year, in our university (JKUAT) to conduct a GC-MS training workshop, which was sponsored by RSC and PACN.”
