- Confidently compare the various methods of LVI and what analytes each type may be suited for
- Know the differences between the various gas sampling valves including rotary and slider valves
- Comprehend the parameters surrounding the various methods of LVI and how sample volume can vary
- Learn the importance of ferrule selection and how the various types are used in GC such as PTFE and metal ferrules
- Be familiar with the recommended set-up for GC with regards sample introduction
