As the first three months of the year come to a close, we take a look at our 2026 Q1 highlights, including training courses, customer visits, feedback, and outreach activities.
Scheduled training courses
During the first three months of 2026, we ran nine live courses covering GC and GC‑MS, DSC, LC and LC‑MS, and FTIR. These were delivered as a mixture of in‑person and virtual courses.
Onsite visits
The team has been very busy, visiting 12 of our customers across the country and around the world, offering a range of training and consultancy expertise.

Feedback received
As part of our training programmes, we receive feedback from delegates and customers following their interactions with our trainers. In the first three months of 2026, we received 94 pieces of feedback, which will help us to improve our training courses moving forward.
From this feedback, we achieved an average score of 4.8 out of 5 for both overall quality of training and quality of the material presented.
“I really enjoyed attending the course because it covers all the theoretical aspects of this instrument. It is very comprehensive and provides a lot of useful and relevant information, which helps better understanding of how the system works.” Melville Laboratory Coordinator, Complete GC & GC-MS, January 2026
“The subject knowledge of the trainer was excellent, she was able to answer questions that were very specific to our products and equipment. The pace of the course was spot on – we covered a lot of ground without rushing.” Method development, January 2026
“The practical skills in LC-MS & the knowledge of MS systems with their functions. It has greatly improved my practical skill and will be very helpful in my work. I would especially recommend the LC-MS instructor, he is super professional. It was a valuable & good experience!” Senior Research Fellow, Hands-on HPLC and LC-MS, February 2026
“Material well structured, presenter went into detailed answers on all the questions & gave loads & loads of examples. We got to see parts of the instruments which was very useful.” Product Development Intern, Absolute Basics of HPLC & LC-MS, February 2026
“Going back to basics and building on it really helped. Diane was very knowledgeable and even though it was an online course, it was interactive and i felt included.” Applied Interpretation of GC-MS Spectra, February 2026
“I enjoyed getting a good understanding of the theory behind ICP-OES and ICP-MS. If I use this equipment in the future, then I will have a good understanding of how it works and can refer to this information when needed. I liked that the training was divided up into sections and all explained very well.” Scientific Officer, Absolute Basics of ICP-OES & ICP-MS, March 2026
