Anthias Consulting is delighted to welcome two new consultants to the team, bringing valuable expertise across pharmaceutical bioanalysis, environmental testing and accredited laboratory operations.

New Consultant Strengthens Bioanalytical Expertise

Based near London, our newest Consultant, Dr Wayne Wright, joins Anthias with over 20 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry. His career has focused on regulated clinical and preclinical bioanalytical studies for small molecules, metabolites and biomarkers.

A long-standing Member of the Research Quality Association (RQA), Dr Wayne brings extensive expertise across binding assays, method development and validation, LC–MS/MS, detailed data checking, and protocol and report review. He also have substantial experience managing outsourcing for bioanalytical studies, supporting organisations to maintain compliance and high-quality delivery.

Trainer & Consultant Brings Environmental Laboratory Experience

We are also pleased to welcome new Trainer & Consultant, Matthew Gell, to the Anthias team. With a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry and five years’ experience in the environmental laboratory and testing industry, he has worked both as an analyst and as a sample preparation lead.

Matthew’s technical background includes hands-on experience with ICP-MS and ICP-OES for soils and waters, as well as techniques such as bomb calorimetry, atomic fluorescence and a range of sample extraction processes. He has worked within ISO 17025 and UKAS-accredited laboratories, managing audits, supporting Quality Management Systems, and delivering training.
