Anthias January prize draw winner announced

Thank you to everyone who entered our recent prize draw to win a place on an Anthias Virtual Classroom course covering techniques used for the determination of physical and structural properties of molecules.

The winner was B. Phiri.

We had entries from around the world, with analysts using a range of techniques for a wide range of applications. The techniques currently used included FTIR, UV-Vis, AAS, ICP-MS, GC-MS and LC-MS along with some additional techniques used to identify the physical and structural properties of molecules.

Many entrants said they were looking to expand their knowledge by learning about a new technique. We highly recommend everyone to not only learn more and gain high quality knowledge about the techniques they currently use in their work but also to delve into the unknown, expand their understanding and learn something new, especially with the pandemic and global situation.

Our Absolute Basics courses provide a perfect introduction to techniques used for the determination of physical and structural properties of molecules.

Each course focuses on a particular technique, explaining the sorts of problems the technique can be used to solve and the types of samples which can be analysed. The training also details how each technique works, outlining the principles and components of the instrumentation used. Beyond the instrumentation, data analysis and the sorts of questions which the technique can answer is also explored, giving you a full picture.
