Anthias Prize Draw Winners

Thank you to everyone who entered our prize draw!

This year, our competition entries came from a diverse range of industries and areas including environmental analysis, toxicology, drug discovery, pesticide analysis, essential oil production and from a range of roles including PhD students, laboratory technicians, researchers, business development, technical sales and quality managers.

The entrants stated they would like to attend the Absolute Basics of GC & GC-MS course to refresh their knowledge or, for those where areas of their role involve the use gas chromatography and mass spectrometry, to familiarise themselves and improve their understanding of the techniques.

The 1-day Absolute Basics of GC & GC-MS provides an introduction to the techniques covering the what, why, where, when and how of GC & GC-MS. The course provides an overview of the different types and definitions of chromatography, the principles and components of the instrumentation, the purpose and principles of data analysis, the different sampling techniques used and the range of industries and their applications.

This course has been approved by the Royal Society of Chemistry for purposes of Continuing Professional Development.
