Presenting at Lab Innovations – “By Royal Appointment"

The opportunity to give a presentation at the always well attended Lab Innovations was one that Anthias Director Diane Turner and Consultant Imran Janmohamed were pleased to accept. When the invitation comes from the Royal Society of Chemistry then the opportunity is one not to be missed.

Day one saw Diane Founder and Senior Consultant of Anthias Consulting give a presentation on:

ABSOLUTE BASICS OF GAS CHROMATOGRAPHY - AN INTRODUCTION

Day two saw Imran Trainer and Consultant with Anthias gave a presentation on:

ABSOLUTE BASICS OF GC-MS - AN INTRODUCTION

The talks were hosted in the Royal Society of Chemistry Theater weaving a rich tapestry of like-minded research based presentations and case studies.

Diane said... “There was a really good attendance over the two days and it was a pleasure to present to a clearly well informed and attentive audience of fellow professionals.”

The presentation incorporated parts of one of the full Anthias courses which have recently been approved by the Royal Society of Chemistry under their new course approval scheme. Diane added “As any presenter will tell you, it’s hard to be totally sure that your audience are taking it all on board; however I was pleased to receive very positive feedback and questions on the day.” Some attendees also took the time to write directly post event to Diane; an example of which is below:

“I was most impressed by the near detailed lecture on GC” and “I would have loved to stay a bit longer yesterday at the NEC and asked some more questions based on your extensive knowledge in the field, which you amazingly covered in reasonable depth on GC, in an hour.”
