Diane Turner and Richard Stokes from Anthias Consulting will be presenting at a Purge & Trap Seminar on 6th October 2016, in partnership with Davidson Analytical Services [DAS].
The seminar will be hosted at The Open University in Milton Keynes, UK and is aimed at current users of Purge and Trap instrumentation in conjunction with a GC or GC-MS system, or those with an interest in the technique.
Topics covered will include hardware and theory of operation, applications and troubleshooting and maintenance of the system. The event will also include a talk by Dr. Geraint Morgan on The Open University’s Space Projects (including Rosetta and the comet landing) and Translation work and a tour of the state-of-the-art laboratory facilities.
Dr. Morgan’s laboratory not only hosts many of the Anthias Consulting training courses it is also the EMEAI method development, demonstration and training facility for OI Analytical Inc. and DAS.
The event is part of an on-going partnership with DAS to make Anthias’ high quality training in GC and GC-MS disciplines accessible to those with a need. DAS specialise in independent service, support and repair of a range of equipment along with related product sales and see training as an important and ongoing addition to these services.
Diane Turner, founder of Anthias Consulting, said: “We know that many people within the GC and GC-MS community use a range of products and manufacturers …. the need to get the most from these products can often hinge on good quality training and this is what Anthias aim to provide directly or as an added value item through partners.”
Tickets to the seminar are available here.
