Diane discussed how it's best to consider the chemistry of the molecules to be separated and detected at every step of your GC-MS analysis; from sample preparation to data analysis. Diane's talk explored the elements encountered in GC-MS analysis and how their properties can help in analysing and identifying molecules containing these.
